Mahindra and Mahindra once again stunned the world by launching its much awaited global SUV "SUV500" at a very competitive price of Rs. 10.8 Lacs. Mahindra XUV500 launches in 3 variants and bookings commence on the 1st of October in Phase I cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune.

Mahindra XUV500 is powered by mHawk140  micro Hybrid engine that boasts 140bhp and 330Nm of torque that transfers power to all the wheels with 6-speed manual transmission also gets twin exhaust pipes. The SUV is also packed other features like various safety features that include ABS, 6-airbags and the ESP.

Mahindra XUV500 has specially designed this SUV for international market as launching in South Africa tomorrow and other market in coming months and at this introductory price as everyone expecting above 14-15 lacs bracket  it will give tough fight to industry leader Toyota Fortuner, Chevrolet Captiva, Honda CRV, Hyundai Santa Fe, newly launched Renault Koleos and much ahead of Tata Aria.

Renault launches new SUV Koleos, priced @ Rs. 22.99 Lacs - Renault Koleos Photos, Images

Renault India launched their first SUV "Koleos" in the market after their sedan Fluence in the market. Renault Koleos launches at a price of Rs.22.99 Lakhs for the 4x4 version.

Renault Koleos has powered by a M9R 865 1995cc turbocharged diesel engine giving out 150 PS at 4000 rpm, a massive 320 Nm of torque at 2000 rpm, and mated to an All Mode 4x4 automatic i-system with differential lock mode. Renault Koleos will compete with Toyota Fortuner, Honda CRV, Hyundai SantaFe, Ford Endeavor and Chevrolet Captiva.

Force Motors launches SUV Force One Priced at Rs. 10.65 Lakhs - Force One Photos, Images

Force Motors - manufacturer of Temp Traveler, Trax and many other low profile vehicle, stepped into passenger vehicle with the launch of their first SUV "Force One" at a very competitive price of Rs. 10.65 Lakhs on 19th August 2011 by Band Ambassador Amitabh Bachchan.



Force One comes with 2.2 Common Rail Daimler Diesel engine putting out 141 PS at 3800 rpm, and a massive 321 Nm at 1600 rpm and suspension kit from Lotus.



Force One is currently available in 4x2 version as 4x4 will launch later this year and give tough fight to Toyota Innova, Tata Aria, Mahindra Scorpio and Xylo.

BMW launched new SUV X1, priced at Rs. 22 to 29.9 Laca, BMW X1 Photos, Images

BMW launched its cheapest and smallest SUV "X1" in India on 23rd December, 2010 in New Delhi. BMW X1 is the youngest member of heavier X3 and X5 family is a compact SUV and will be CKD (completely knocked-down unit) produced in India.

BMW X1 launched in three variants: BMW X1 sDrive18i (petrol), BMW X1 sDrive20d (diesel) and BMW X1 sDrive20d Exclusive (diesel) at a very competitive price startinf grom only Rs. 22 Lakhs and give very tough fight to Honda CRV, Chevrolet Captiva, Ford Endeavour, Mitsubishi Outlander and Toyota Fortuner ranging almost the same price range.

Volvo launched new SUV XC60 in India, Priced at Rs. 39.5 Las - Volvo XC60 Photos, Images

Swedish auto maker Volvo has launched its new luxury SVU "XC60" in the Indian market. Volvo XC60 is the safest Volvo car in India, powered by 2.4-litre five-cylinder diesel engine which gives 205bhp of power and 420Nm of torque.

Volvo XC60 will come with CBU and available in colors and the interiors come with four upholstery colours.
