Nissan India increasing their products in the Indian market and after launching small car Micra they are ready with entry level sedan "Sunny" to compete the second best segment in India. Nissan Sunny is currently launched in the petrol version only and powered by a 1.5 liter equipped with Variable Timing Control makes 99 PS of power at 6000 rpm with a 134 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm, giving a decent mileage of 16.5 km/liter.

PowerStream, the second largest municipally-owned electricity distribution company in Ontario, received keys to its two white Nissan LEAFs MY11 at an event at its head office in Vaughan, Ontario.

“Electricity is the new fuel for cars and drivers have the freedom to choose a future with no tailpipe emissions or dependence on fossil fuels,” said Allen Childs, president of Nissan Canada, in a statement.” This Nissan LEAF delivery is just the beginning of the sustainable mobility movement in Canada.”

Through Model Year 12, Nissan expects to release around 600 Nissan Leaf on the Canadian market. In addition to these MY12 models, Nissan Canada has secured 100 MY11 Nissan LEAFs with 40 allocated to consumers, ahead of the arrival of MY12 cars that will start to arrive later this year.

To be eligible to reserve a Nissan LEAF, consumers must be registered on www.nissan.ca/leaf and live within the vicinity of a Nissan LEAF certified dealer. Those meeting these criteria will receive an email in the coming weeks with all the details on how and when to order a Nissan LEAF.

Reservations for MY11 will be made on a first-come-first-served basis. A second wave of reservations will be available in the coming months for the 2012 Nissan LEAF and as production ramps up and more cars become available, reservations will open to the broader public.

The engine has the lazy throttle response of one tuned to pull a lot of weight, and you'll need to push the gas pedal down quite far when you want the Nissan Murano to accelerate briskly. The interior is definitely not trucklike, though. The seats are comfortable, the materials are very nice and there's plenty of space. The Nissan Murano should be on your short list, along with the Ford Edge and the Kia Sorrento. @car review

Nissan's Murano was one of the first crossover SUVs, and it continues to be one of the best at combining the attributes of an SUV with the driving dynamics of a sport sedan. Based on the same platform as the midsize Altima sedan, the Nissan Murano is balanced and responsive, making it a great all-around vehicle for practical, everyday use. Powered by Nissan's award-winning 3.5-liter V6 engine, the Nissan Murano has plenty of get-up-and-go, and the continuously variable transmission works well in this application. I also like the new design — it is fresh but remains true to the original — and the interior is well thought-out, skewing more upscale than the outgoing model. –Mike Meredith

Perry Stern: It can not be crazy about the look of the Nissan Murano, but it is one of the best five-passenger crossover on the market. The cargo area offers a wide range of public services, and the rear seat can actually handle three without feeling terribly close. And unlike many crosses, the Nissan Murano is really fun to drive. There are a lot of energy on tap, and continuously variable transmission is one of the best in the business, trying to keep the engine in the sweet spot for better performance. I do not expect the CVT would also improve fuel economy, but could not get my average over 18 mpg in mixed driving. The handling is difficult for a crossover, but with good management, so an excellent choice for Murano someone in the crossover market that needs a little more, but I do not want to go to a 7-seater model. @car review
