2012 Hyundai Azera Stylish Dynamis Luxury

The 2012 Hyundai Azera pays homage to the saying “fashion fades, style endures” by designing a car for those who champion quality and intelligent design over showiness. To that end, the goal for the Azera’s exterior styling was to exude confidence and avoid gimmicks, while still maintaining the functional comfort that buyers of this class of car demand. Adding to the already sophisticated look of the Azera, we’ve enhanced the exterior with many premium updates such as a bolder front grille design, chrome tipped dual exhaust integrated into the bumper, 17” alloy-wheels and LED rear tail lights.

The Azera’s distinctive bodyside lines frame the rear wheels like no other car on the road, while the LED tail lights that cover nearly the entire width of the vehicle give it a subtle visual signature all its own and the chrome-tipped dual exhaust is integrated into the rear bumper. You’ll note that the trunk lock is hidden from sight so as not to blemish the styling. Open the trunk and you’ll find it nicely lined, with integrated hinges that won’t damage your cargo.

When you examine an Azera, you’ll notice a difference in the way it’s finished. But even the things you can’t see have been carefully considered by our engineers. For instance, the thickness of the side glass was specially designed to ensure that outside noise would stay outside. The jointing and sealing methods used on the car were also developed to increase refinement and longevity. And wherever extra effort would be noticed and appreciated by the customer, we encouraged the engineers to make it. One of the many reasons the Azera has continued to win over the public and the press.

The high arc of the roof makes the Azera easier to enter and exit. This silhouette also positively impacts interior space, particularly head, shoulder and leg room, not to mention the area available for storage. The shape of the trunk its wide opening, and even the rear bumper were scrutinized not just to look good but also to ensure that it would be easy to load. Consider how you must contort your body to reach for an object deep inside the trunk of the average large car. Then, try doing the same with the Azera and see how much easier it is.

They Hyundai Azera started by using an incredibly strong and durable seat frame. Springs and seat cushions were carefully sourced to ensure they would be both comfortable and supportive. And seatbacks were strategically reinforced to offer appropriate lumbar support. Then they wrap them in premium leather, standard on the Limited and available on GLS. But the design of the actual seat is just the first step. The key is being able to adjust the seat to fit each person individually. The Azera allows you to power-adjust the driver's seat in eight different ways; front passengers have four available adjustments. And the Integrated Memory System allows you to program and store the position of the steering wheel, mirrors, and driver seat.

2011 Hyundai Tucson

2011 Hyundai Tucson in auto show

The 2011 Hyundai Tucson is a winner by all means. You can take it on-road or off-road, buy a 1.6 Liter Gamma Turbo Inline-4 engine or a 2.4 Liter Theta II Inline-4 engine; but however you cut it, the 2011 Tucson is a stylish and smart choice.

Hyundai redesigned the Hyundai Tucson in 2010, and for 2011, little has changed. The 2011 Hyundai Tucson is very similar to the 2010 model. The Hyundai Tucson’s price is also hard to turn down. The Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV-4 can’t beat this price. Although it offers a lot of features at an affordable price, there are areas where the Hyundai Tucson falls short. Few affordable compact SUVs beat the Hyundai Tucson when it comes to fuel economy, but if you want a few more miles per gallon, the Chevrolet Equinox tops the Hyundai Tucson and averages 22/32 mpg city/highway.

The Hyundai Tucson has three trims: GL, GLS and Limited. The GLS and Limited models have a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine and optional all-wheel drive. The upper trims receive a six-speed automatic transmission.

This new base model makes use of a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine instead of the previous 2.4-liter engine.

The 2011 Tucson is a five-passenger compact crossover SUV that is offered in three trim levels: GL, GLS and Limited.

The GLS adds 17-inch cast-aluminum wheels, roof rails, heated side mirrors, cruise control, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, leatherette vinyl door trim and seat inserts, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and Bluetooth. All-wheel-drive GLS models also get heated front seats. The Limited trim goes the extra mile by adding 18-inch cast-aluminum wheels, outside mirrors with integrated turn signals, automatic headlights, foglights, upgraded suspension, front wiper de-icer, leather upholstery, a power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar adjustments, dual-zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming rearview

The 2011 Tucson GL comes standard with a 2.0-liter inline-4 engine that produces 165 horsepower and 146 pound-feet of torque. Only front-wheel drive is available for the GL.

The automatic improves these figures to 23/31/26 mpg. The front-wheel-drive GLS and Limited models are expected to get 22 city/31 mpg highway and 25 mpg combined, while AWD models make slightly less at 21/28/23 mpg.

we found its acceleration to be just about average among other compact crossovers, with our test vehicle requiring 9.6 seconds to reach 60 mph.

Standard safety equipment for the "Hyundai Tucson" includes antilock disc brakes (with brake assist), stability and traction control, active front headrests, front side airbags, side curtain airbags, hill holder and hill descent control.

Unlike many of the humdrum interiors found in other crossover SUVs, the 2011 Tucson offers a contoured twin-cowl dash that's available in two-tone color schemes. The Hyundai Tucson provides a comfortable driving position for drivers of almost any size. The compact Hyundai Tucson also offers only 55.8 cubic feet of maximum cargo capacity, while both the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 are rated at more than 70 cubic feet and even the Subaru Forester is rated at 63 cubic feet.

Many compact crossovers offer uninspired driving dynamics, but the Hyundai Tucson breaks from convention with a more lively spirit.

European-inspired suspension tuning and a well-weighted electric power steering system give the Hyundai Tucson a sportier feel, but unfortunately, it comes at the expense of ride quality.

Hyundai Genesis (2012)

The award-winning Hyundai Genesis sedan segment continues its leadership with exterior styling enhancements, the new direct injection technology for its Lambda V6, the new eight-speed automatic, and improved chassis tuning. In addition, a new 5.0-liter direct-injection V8 engine now available only on 5.0-R Spec model, which includes unique 19-inch wheels machined alloy, optional Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 summer tires for performance and Sports calibrations tuned transmission, suspension and steering Vehicle Dynamics exciting.

NEW R-Spec 5.0: The most powerful V8 ever HYUNDAI

The heart of the Hyundai Genesis 5.0 R-Spec is a new V8 engine of 429 horsepower at 6400 rpm produces Tau and 376 lb-ft of torque at 5000 rpm. The new Tau V8 is the most powerful engine in the history of Hyundai, with an increase in the specific production (85.8 hp / liter) than its competitors in the naturally aspirated engine of high-end luxury. For 2011, the Tau V8 engine family was again appointed to the prestigious top ten engines of the third consecutive

The 5.0-liter cylinder bore was increased from 92 mm to 96 mm above the bar of 4.6 liters for a total displacement of 5.0 liters (5038 cc). In addition to extended travel, the direct injection technology was added. This system of high pressure direct injection (over 2200 psi), greatly increases the power and torque while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. Compression ratio increased from 10.4 to 11.5:1 for superior thermal efficiency and output. The Tau also receives a bed sheet revised for better block rigidity and lower NVH and carriers camshaft, and roller chain to improve the stability of the valve train.

Moreover, it still offers all new V8 engine technologies of the premium 4.6-liter V8, including continuously variable valve dual (D-CVVT), a hearing induction system, low friction coefficient of the variable diamond coatings (DLC) in the piston skirt, rings and buttons. Even with these impressive increases in power, fuel economy is estimated at 16 mpg city and 25 mpg on the highway, almost matching the 4.6-liter V8 (17 mpg city/26 mpg highway). As an additional point of interest, the same 5.0-liter Tau V8 with eight-speed transmission will replace the current 4.6-liter V8 engine standard on the Hyundai Equus sedan 2012 high-end luxury, on sale this summer.

Tau 5.0-liter V8 is a new house with eight-speed transmission. Hyundai has developed this new report adds two more transmission improves acceleration, shifting smoothness and efficiency of the transmission of more than six percent in the first six-speed transmission. All eight marches include SHIFTRONIC ® feature a manual gearbox. This new eight-speed transmission is the first offered by a manufacturer of non-luxury brands.

In agreement with Hyundai Engineering philosophy, as R-Spec will include more aggressive chassis tuning to match its powertrain improvements corresponding to the optimal dynamic balance. To improve the control of the roll, the front stabilizer bar diameter is increased from 25 mm to 26 mm and the diameter at the rear of 18 mm to 19 mm in model 4.6. R-Spec will sport a unique design alloy wheels 19 inches with a high quality finish and machined optional Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 summer performance tires. Calibration Management R-Spec was adapted to the single wheel and tire combination for improved performance and conduct expectations of refinement in this segment. To complete the overall performance, the front brake rotors increased from 13.0 inches to 13.6 inches above the 2011 4.6 model.

In addition, more aggressive styling cues from Genesis all the 2012 models, the R-Spec headlights offer a unique dark chrome inserts in front of more distinctive appearance. R-Spec trim has been added to the shelf label, and the black R Spec embroidered floor mats on a daily basis to remind the driver performance, which is expected at the wheel. Hyundai Genesis Spec-R offered sports-oriented in only three exterior colors: Black Noir, metallic titanium and platinum, each with black leather seats and all-black leather-wrapped sport differential aspect of the model 4.6.

DIRECT INJECTION Lambda 3.8-liter engine

In line with its 5.0-liter V8 sibling, the Hyundai Genesis 3.8-liter Lambda engine will receive a direct injection (GDI) technology to increase production of 15 percent from 290 to 333 horsepower, an impressive gain of 43 horsepower without increasing displacement. In addition, increasing peak torque from 264 lb.-ft. to 291 lb.-ft., up from 27 lb.-ft. generous in the same 3.8 liter. Compression ratio 10.4:1 11.5:1 increases the thermal efficiency. The new Lambda V6 direct injection gives a result higher specific (87.6 hp / liter) that competitors normally aspirated high-end luxury.
The 3.8-liter engine retains all the high-end technologies that have made it great since the beginning of Genesis: dual variable valve timing (CVVT D-), induction variable, aluminum block and heads, the steel chain, and the tip of iridium spark plugs. Besides the generous power and torque gains, to produce direct injection technology represents a significant reduction of emissions through a reduction of 40 percent in the catalyst light off time. In addition, a variable vane pump oil is mounted on the oil pressure corresponding precisely to the requirements of engine lubrication for increased efficiency at all engine speeds. Consequently, the increase of 3.8 liters of fuel economy over GDI seven percent from 27 to 29 mpg mpg on the highway.

All 3.8-liter engines will be coupled with an internally developed eight-speed SHIFTRONIC and gear specifically calibrated to an overall increase in efficiency of transmission of six percent. These two additional conditions to achieve the competing goals of acceleration and economy without compromise.
